Welcome to The Herc, a bespoke tasting room and social club. Inspired by one of the first American spies and Revolutionary War hero Hercules Mulligan, it’s located just blocks away from Mulligan’s original tailor shop at 23 Queen Street (now 218 Pearl Street). This Irish immigrant was a man of many talents, which he cleverly deployed to seamlessly elicit secrets from the British and pass them on to the Continental Army, changing history and helping secure the freedoms we enjoy today. While fitting uniforms for British officers, Mulligan entertained his clientele with Irish wit and an off-the-cuff style, pouring drinks from his secret stash. The bespoke libations suited the customers’ tastes and lead to loose-lipped conversation. Mulligan’s intel of impending British plots and attacks saved many lives, including General Washington’s. Hercules’ secret weapon: a drink so good, it’ll make you feel invincible. The perfect balance of sweet and sour made with Eyr & Rye. Made with fresh lemon and lime juice, infused vanilla bean, topped with a cloud-like egg white foam.
The Crimson Curtail
This common sense cocktail features aged rye whiskey, a New York-made amaro for a touch of bitter complexity, and sweet vermouth to round out the flavor profile. Garnished with Orange Peel.

A rich and flavorful blend of freshly brewed Stone Street black coffee, your choice of spirit, local honey, and whipped cream, topped with a sprinkle of grated nutmeg.

The Herc’s Own Beer On Draft
ALE - 4.9% ABV - a balanced and refreshing beer, featuring a slightly sweet upfront flavor, a light and crisp body, and a dry finish. It’s the perfect choice for any occasion.
STOUT - 6.5% ABV - a deep black ale with a light tan head. The rich roasty aromas and coffee notes from the dark roasted grains are balanced by a low to medium bitterness, making it a smooth and satisfying brew.
